Next meeting: 28 February — Cherylrenee Rendes (WOW Animals) Wonders Of Wildlife
Cherylrenee Rendes will give a presentation on "Animals Without Shells."
There will also be a sweetheart bake-off and a random raffle ticket drawing!
Annual Plant Auction — 24 April at 7:00 P.M.
A wide variety of plants and trees will be available! Donations come from various plant nurseries, pond plant gardens for aquatic turtles and horticulture/agriculture schools. Members will also provide their specialty homegrown plants.
Plant donations will consist of a large variety of California native plants, "tortoise friendly" plants, cacti and other succulents, exotic plants, hard-to-find plants, trees, shrubs and pond plants for aquatic turtles.
This is a Chapter fundraising event so that we may continue our mission to care for and find forever homes for our "shelled friends," as well as providing education/outreach programs to the public.
