Meetings take place on the fourth Friday of the month from 7:30 PM to 9:00 PM.

Arboretum Location

Los Angeles County Arboretum is located on Baldwin Avenue just south of the 210 Freeway in Arcadia near the Santa Anita Race Track. 

Park by the main entrance. Enter through the gate just right of the gift shop. The meeting room is located down the ramp and on your left.

September 27 — Dr. Marlene Anschultz, DVM — A-Z Mobile Veterinary Services

Dr. Anschultz will speak on "Safe Brumation/Hibernation"


Because of scheduling conflicts with Arboretum-sponsored events, the October, November, and December meetings of the Foothill chapter will take place as follows:

Monday, October 28: Dr. Michael Tuma, Desert Tortoise Council Chair, speaking on Pancake Tortoises; Officer and Executive Board Delegate Election; Halloween Costume/Party — all Halloween costume participants will receive a raffle ticket for the raffle ticket drawing.

Monday, November 25: Laura Brewer from Prehistoric Pets and Jurassic Parties in Fountain Valley to show and tell us about a variety of reptiles available through their store and zoo.

Monday, December 16: Annual Christmas Party/Potluck! potluck dinner and games.
