ABOUT KERN CTTC
The Kern County Chapter of the California Turtle & Tortoise Club (Kern CTTC) was founded in April 1998. Since then, our tireless volunteers have dedicated their time to educating people about the preservation and conservation of Desert Tortoises (Gopherus agassizii), which are native to Kern County. Many of our members also own a wide range of other tortoise and turtle species.
Kern CTTC meets the 2nd Monday of every month. Until further notice, our chapter is meeting virtually via Zoom. You do not need to be a member to participate in our virtual meetings, though we'd love to have you join! Your tax deductible membership helps fund the Kern County Chapter, including monthly programs, the Desert Tortoise Habitat at CSUB and the Adoptions program.
