Yellow-headed Temple Turtle, Hieremys annandalii
This large, herbivorous pond turtle is found in southeast Asia ranging from Thailand east to northern Malaysia. These turtles are one of the species that are ritually released into ponds near Buddhist temples — hence the common name "temple turtle."
